Saturday Mornings 11.30am–1.30pm

After a break in August classes re-start this Saturday, September 4th.
Greenwich West Community Centre, 141 Greenwich High Road, London SE10 8JA

In movement we explore:
the fluidity of flowing,
the focus of staccato,
the release of chaos,
the light of lyrical
and the emptyness of stillness.

5 Rhythms is a great way to connect with ourselves and with others, to stretch into our own body and our own creativity. All you need is a willingness to move and be moved. Everybody welcome.

These are drop-in classes, no need to book, just come along.

Cost: £14 / £11 low income / £8 concessions.

What to bring:
water to drink and wear comfortable clothes to move in. Dance barefoot or in soft-soled shoes.

Getting there:
Greenwich British rail, and DLR station are only 2 minutes walk.
The 177 bus passes the building, and the 180, 199 and 386 all stop close by.
Parking is limited in the area. Nearest pay and display is on Norman road.
Riverboat: You can even take riverboats to Greenwich Pier from Westminster, Embankment or Tower Piers.

We use the main hall in Greenwich West Community Centre, it has a lovely wooden floor, high ceiling and lots of large windows. This together with the close proximity to Greenwich DLR station and being so near Greenwich park and market, it's a great venue.

Greenwich Rhythms has been at Greenwich West Community Centre for about eight years. It was originally founded by Peter Wilberforce, was run for some time by a group of dancers from the Greenwich 5Rhythms community, and is now taught and run by Sarah Davies.

All dancers are invited to join us for lunch at the Fountain Food Court after the dance.

Please feel welcome to join the Greenwich Rhythms group
